Before joining Element, Wolff led the commercial P&C lines at AXA Germany, after managing international insurance organizations for Roland and ARAG; all with a focus on business development. Prior to that Wolff was a consultant at BCG, based in Cologne. Wolff holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Philipps University Marburg.

Prior to taking on the challenge of digitalising insurance, Henning was working for Axel Springer where he took ownership of the premium content platform responsible for paid content of Welt, Bild and other publications. After insourcing and growing internal teams, Henning was building and leading tech and product of upday, a shared initiative between Samsung Electronics and Axel Springer as Director Engineering until its successful launch.
