This autumn, finleap hosted its quarterly meet-up to celebrate its most recent ecosystem-wide achievements and the whole finleap family was invited. This time around the celebration marked finleap’s 5th anniversary! finleap’s first employee, Ramin Niroumand, celebrated the occasion by traveling back in time and sharing his memories of the founding days.
On September 18th, 2019, finleap held its first-ever fintech summit. Over 200 industry leaders across the financial business and investment sectors met in the impressive St. Elisabeth Church in Berlin-Mitte for a day of keynotes, panel discussions and open forums. The goal? To determine how leaders can work across Europe, Germany and companies to #reshapefinancetogether.
Last week at the finleap fintech summit in Berlin, we finalized an exciting new cooperation between Commencis and finleap. We are pleased to announce the launch of a new joint venture, finbyte, a software development services company based in Berlin.
The who's who of the banking scene in Germany met once again in Frankfurt for the 2019 Handelsblatt Banken-Gipfel (Banking Summit). finleap, as well as several of our portfolio companies, had a full program: from the fintech dinner to the panel discussions, as well as the fintexx - women in finance lunch event.
While others went on summer holidays or spent the warm summer days at Berlin’s many lakes, we redesigned our office at the fintech hub H:32. After celebrating two (fantastic) years of moving into the H:32 building, we decided it was time to make our office look even more “finleap”. Take a look at our amazing new office!
The whole finleap team came together again for this year's summer offsite. The team, now up to almost 100 people, enjoyed a full day of activities spanning from Berlin's Treptower Park and all the way through Berlin’s young, multicultural Kreuzberg district.
Going forward, we streamline our efforts to fully digitalize the finance industry by adding the new business unit finleap connect. The existing finleap team will proceed with its work as finleap assets and finleap build. Creating the finleap abc.
