  • It was a glorious evening for financeAds.

    On July 4th 2016, a panel of digital experts with professional backgrounds such as Yahoo and Vodafone, made their choice in the illustrious venue of Amsterdam's Hotel Krasnopolsky. The judges of the European Performance Marketing Award searched for an affiliate network that “enables advertisers and publishers to excel with their affiliate programmes.”

    And the winner was: financeAds International

    By winning the well-respected award in the category “Best Affiliate Network”, financeAds left behind competitors such as zanox & affilinet. The statement of the jury read: “As a specialist affiliate network geared towards members of the financial industry, financeAds is gaining plenty of results off the back of a highly focused approach. The group is making huge strides in Europe by satisfying the needs of insurers, banks and more, with the emphasis on engaging a diverse range of publishers.”

    A great success, which started with a long entrepreneurial journey almost ten years ago.

    In 2015, financeAds International GmbH was founded as a joint venture between FinLeap GmbH in Berlin and financeAds GmbH & CO. KG from Nuremberg. The affiliate network in Nuremberg had already started in 2006. By founding the joint venture financeAds International, an aim to focus on the expansion across Europe and leverage the fintech and financial know-how of the company builder was created.

    financeAds International is led by co-founder and CEO, Hakan Oezal. Hakan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has several years of working experience for different online banks in Berlin, Istanbul and Vienna. He made his first steps in the field of affiliate networks as the Head of Finance Industry at zanox AG.

    So what makes financeAds´ business model so successful?

    The company is the link between financial service providers and the digital marketing world, working with a transaction-based pricing model. With the purpose of attracting new clients, financeAds helps their customers find the right place for their publicity in the world wide web. Over the years, financeAds has attracted a large range of customers from the financial, insurance and fintech sector, including over 250 big corporate banks like ING, Allianz or Deutsche Bank. In 2012, financeAds had over 100 Advertisers and 5.000 Publishers in their portfolio. This achievement made them the market leader in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

    Currently, financeAds has over 8.000 active publishers and 250 advertiser programmes. Moreover, the team of the financeAds group has grown to 48 employees. Since the beginning of 2015, the company has focused on the international expansion - with great success. So far, financeAds is present in nine European countries, including France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Poland.
